Port TMS and HubTran announce partnership
April 26, 2021Partnership to Provide Customers Enhanced Payment Capabilities
OVERLAND PARK, KS – May 1, 2020 – Port TMS, LLC is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership agreement and completed a full integration of Port’s transportation management software with Level One Technologies Epay Manager application.
Today’s market conditions require shippers and third parties to deliver better service, including accelerated payment options to their carriers. With the number of available trucks declining, it’s more important than ever to offer payment terms that meet a carrier’s cash flow requirements. Epay Manager will provide Port users with the ability to streamline their accounts payable procedures and offer flexible payment terms to their carriers.
In addition to these software enhancements, the partnership will make Level One’s early funding program available to Port’s users. With this program, Epay members are able to offer quick pay options to carriers without increasing their working capital. This is because Level One funds the early payment to the carrier and pays the customer a commission on every transaction. With this program, Port’s users will be able to attract and retain carriers without added cost or financial risk.
Port TMS is a leading provider of web based transportation software to shippers and third party logistics companies. The addition of the Epay Manager interface will allow Port’s users to automatically export completed load information to Epay. This information will be converted to an online invoice and sent to carriers for review, dispute resolution, the submission of deliver documents and the selection of customized payment terms. When the invoice is approved for payment, the completed record will be exported to Port to update the user’s accounts payable system.
This partnership will enhance the existing capabilities of Port’s software and will be available to any new or existing Port user. Companies using Port TMS and Epay Manager will become more efficient and improve their relationships with carriers without having to make any significant changes or upgrades. The partnership will also improve the standardization of Epay’s global payment platform by connecting to Port’s dynamic software.
